The trough feeder can be mounted on the ground or hoisted on the discharge port of the mine bin. The reciprocating movement of the bottom plate of the groove is 20-60 times/min and the stroke is 20-200mm. The stroke can be properly adjusted by the eccentric wheel of the driving device, and the eccentricity is half of the stroke. According to the production practice of some concentrator, for viscous ore, the eccentricity should not be less than 30mm. The width of the trough feeder is about 2-2.5 times the maximum size of the feed. The largest trough feeder, can meet the size of less than 500mm iron ore feed. The most commonly used specification is 980*1240 trough feeder, whose feeding size is 350-0mm, which is suitable for feeding equipment as 400*600 jaw crusher.

Trough feeder is a reciprocating feeding equipment for trough floor. It can be hoisted under the discharge port of the bin, or it can be erected on the ground. It is mainly used as a feeding equipment that requires uniform feeding such as jaw crusher.

Trough feeder is suitable for mineral processing, coal, chemical and other industrial sectors, the granular and bulk materials from the storage bin out to a variety of different types of receiving devices, but not suitable for conveying fine ore powder and other powdered materials.
